Members of Trinity Lutheran Church in Arapahoe donated to the Arapahoe Backpack for Kids program at Arapahoe Public Schools. The Christian Life Committee began the donations with $1,000 followed by the LWML organization donating $500, Trivent, adding another $500 and members of the congregation joining the challenge and donated $1,325; the total donated to the program was $3,325. SUNSHINE VILLAGE

Sunshine Village held thier monthly potluck dinner on Monday hosted by Virginia Cookson and Ilene Collins. They are all decorated for Thanksgiving and had ten residents attending. It was a snowy day but they had a great lunch. They are busy planning their Christmas decorations and tree trimming day November 30 at the Blue Room. Ilene gave a great program on Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Fall Poetry.

Several residents enjoyed “trick or treaters” on Halloween evening. Lucetta andrews grandchildren gave their Aunt Lelia Haussler a wave through Lelia’s door on Sunday evening.

Thursday, November 4: Pork sandwich, oven fries, baked beans and bar cookie. Friday, November 5: Potato bar, hamburger, broccoli, deviled eggs, fluffy fruit salad.
