Thursday, the Roughriders struggled offensively to shake free from visiting Medicine Valley until a 15-point fourth quarter blew open a 43-24 win.

Facing quality competition and four games in six days, the Southern Valley boys basketball team dropped its first three games of the season, falling to Minden 62-19 on Thursday before dropping a 44-22 decision to Elm Creek on Friday. The Eagles also fell to Gothenburg Monday, 66-35.

ELWOOD - The Arapahoe wrestling team medaled eight individuals and finished runner-up with 139 points at the Hi-Line Invite Friday in Elwood. Cambridge medaled five individuals and scored 105 points to finish fourth and Hi-Line scored 77 points to take eighth, medaling four.
