During the Southern Valley Board of Education meeting on Monday, January 10 at 11 am the board heard about the reduction of staff policy in regards to reducing the number of administrators on the High School side. This was brought up during Superintendent Bryce Jorgenson’s report.

The Oxford depot still sits in the village of Oxford, Nebraska. I remember taking the train out of that depot back in 1965 to go to Bible college in New York state. It has served the community for many years and now is only used for Burlington Railroad workers to operate out of.
