Looking for donations for Blue Ribbon concessions at Furnas County Fair

The Furnas County 4-H Council works hard to provide meals throughout the Furnas County Fair at the Blue Ribbon Building. This service is considered a fundraiser for the Furnas County 4-H program and helps support 4-H’ers with projects and scholarships. The council would like to ask if there are any businesses or individuals that would be willing to donate food or other supplies. Items the council is looking for includes:

Cambridge School Board met in regular session on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. All Board members were present. Virgil Banzhaf was present as a guest. Board approved the agenda and then approved the minutes of the May 9, 2022 Board of Education meeting.

2022 medicine Creek days road rally donates to local Fire departments

The Medicine Creek Days Road Rally began at Amateur’s Bar N Grill. Organizers Darcy and Dave Johnson and Brad and Laurie Farr, sent ten teams in vehicles winding through town, then northeast and west of Cambridge searching for flags, smiley faces and photo opportunities. After comparing time, mileage, and several other factors, Trevor and Genny Kubik were declared the winners and the Gunderson Family came in second. It was decided that the remainder of the entry fees should be donated to the fire department.
