The Gosper County Senior Center held a program for kids of all ages featuring a Balloon Artist. The program was sponsored by the Elwood Public Library. The balloon artist, 14 year old Ethan Boogs entertained those attending. Ethan learned how to make balloon animals on his own from books he got at his local library. Ethan gave his program at 14 other library’s that week before coming to Elwood on Thursday, June 16th. He made the usual animals as well as an octopus, flamingo and turtle watch. Assisting Ethan were his mom, dad and sister who kept busy making balloon dogs to send home with the kids that didn’t receive his special balloons.
