25 Years Ago January 29, 1998 Hastings College announced it was the recipient of a bequeath by Althea McClelland of Sun City, Arizona, for the sum of $3.1 million, with $2.5 million to endow a scholarship in the music department and $600,000 to be used in the general education programs. This is the largest gift that Hastings College has ever received.
