Arapahoe school Board Meets During spring Break

Body Several teachers and students were in attendance for the March 13 Arapahoe Public School Board meeting even though Monday marked the first day of spring break. During the meeting, the board voted to purchase a lowmileage 12-passenger 2020 Chevrolet van from Faw’s Motors.

Horizon Gymnastics Chalks Up Win

Body Competing in Lincoln, Ne on February 10-12, 2023 at Solid Rock Gymnastics, Horizon set the bar high for their competition. Taking the floor against 13 competing teams, the gymnasts came out and set the gym on fire.

Furnas/Harlan 4-H programs receive $200 each

Body As part of the Harlan/Furnas Farm Bureau Federation outreach, the board approved to donate $200 to both the Furnas County and Harlan County 4-H programs. Checks were presented to Furnas/Harlan Extension Educator, Rebecca Dahlgren for the 2023 4-H programs.
