Body KEARNEY – The University of Nebraska at Kearney announced students who earned a place on the dean’s list for the spring 2023 semester. Students who are on the dean’s list must have completed 12 credit hours or more of classes with a 3.5 grade-point average or better on a 4.

Body The Cambridge Memorial Hospital Auxiliary met May 16th and enjoyed a lunch provided by the hospital. During the business meeting, the 2023 nursing scholarship recipients were announced, namely Brittany Alexander, Raelynn Minary and Chloe Besler.

Body The Furnas County GOP will meet Monday June 12th at the Community Center in Wilsonville. Individuals who are registered Republicans are invited to attend. The building will open at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will convene at 7:00 p.m.

Body The Cambridge High School Senior Class of 1973 will hold their 50th class reunion on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at the Cross Creek club house at 5 PM.

Body BEAVER CITY – Council members met for just under one hour for their regular meeting on June 5. Upon the recommendation of the Building Commission, they approved a building permit request from Greg Yost for a garage at 716 N Street.

Body Cambridge City Council met in regular session on Monday, June 5, 2023, at 6:30 pm. Council member Mike Harris was absent from the meeting.
