NORTH PLATTE - A trip to the top-rated team in Class D1 didn’t net the Hi-Line football team the victory they fought hard for. But it did affirm the Bulls’ belief that they can beat anybody on any given day.
STAMFORD - The Southern Valley/Alma softball dominated both ends of a doubleheader with Chase County Thursday, sweeping the twin bill, 18-2 and 14-1, to improve to 4-6 this season. Josa Dunse tossed a complete game in the opener and was supported by 11 runs in the first and seven more in the second as the Saints needed just three hits to put up 18 runs.
