The family of Rod and Suzi Mollring of Cambridge, Nebraska is requesting a card shower in honor of the couple’s 50th wedding anniversary on November 25, 2023. They were married on November 25, 1973 in Alma, Nebraska. Their family includes son Nate (Lori) Mollring of Pleasanton, Nebraska, daughter Marisa (Ryan) Burke of Cambridge, grandchildren Alex (Olivia) Burke, Cole (Mackenna) Burke, Trev Burke, Emily, Hailey, and Kinley Mollring, greatgrandsons Easton and Cooper Burke and countless children who grew up in Suzi’s Daycare. The City of Arapahoe received their new light poles last week for the downtown area. They go well with the downtown improvements being made on the sidewalks.

We couldn’t ask for nicer fall days than we’ve had recently and that are in the forecast. Perfect for celebrating Veteran’s Day.

The nine members of the Frontier County Extension Board use their knowledge, experience, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to guide the Nebraska Extension Frontier County Educators and office staff. They assist as a decision maker for the extension office to set a yearly budget, maintain facilities, order equipment, & program topic ideas. The group helps promote & advocate the Nebraska Extension story & impact to the public.

Placing more flag poles at the Veterans Memorial in Arapahoe were Wayne Lammel and Gary Schievelbein. It is nice to see improvements being made on this special memorial.

Hunters across Nebraska will hit the field in droves this firearm deer season, which begins Nov. 11.
