After a brief discussion over the cleanup of the grass pile, it was decided to repeat last year’s actions. Blume moved to pay John O’Dea $500 for the task, Fries seconded, and the motion passed.

The Oxford Chamber of Commerce hosted the annual Easter Egg hunt at the Geo. R. Mitchell Park in Oxford Saturday, March 30. The event has been going on for over 70 years and was a beloved project of the late Kay Haag. Her children and grandchildren still have a large role in the egg hunt with announcer Mike Quinn thanking them for their many years of participation in the event.

Sparks Fly During Beaver City Council Meeting

BEAVER CITY – Several members of a local family shared grievances during the public comment portion of the council meeting on April 1, 2024. Local businessman Mike Kelly, who owns several properties in Beaver City, has had ongoing fiduciary conflicts with the city involving property damage and zoning issues that have been addressed multiple times at council meetings during the past two years.

Clay Jordan named CEO at Tri Valley Health System

CAMBRIDGE - Tri Valley Health System Board of Directors appointed Clay Jordan as the new Chief Executive Officer at their regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, March 27. Jordan had been serving as the Interim CEO since November 29, 2023 and also has served as Tri Valley Health System Chief Nursing Officer since 2020.

Dowell placed fourth and eighth. Isaac Hamilton took runner-up in the 800. The boys' 4x4 and 4x1 relays placed fifth and sixth. The fifth-place 4x4 relay consisted of Isaac Hamilton, Sam Bantam, Josiah Dowell, and Preston Howart. Tylor Grove, Hayden Lans, Gabe Grove, and Sam Bantam ran the 4x1.
