Arapahoe Ambulance gets new equipment

Body
The Arapahoe Ambulance is fortunate to have a few new state of the art pieces of equipment. Items added are 2 Lifepack 15 ECG/Defibrilating monitors and a Stryker power cot and lift assist for the ambulance. Both ambulances now have power cots and lift assist. Due to risk of injury of the rescuer and patient, the power lift system is a great/ safe way to move/lift our patients. The power lift system was provided by funding assistance from the Arapahoe Area Foundation and City of Arapahoe. The Lifepack monitors are an upgrade from previous monitors as they have reliable transmission capabilities to hospital EDs, a carbon monoxide monitor and easy insertion of call data into the state paperwork for the call. The monitors were provided partially by a grant from the state, the City of Arapahoe and donation funds given to the Fire/Ambulance Department. Thank you to all that helped with donations for this equipment.
Shown with new monitors for the Arapahoe Ambulance are Front row L-R Amy Huxoll, Colby Carpenter, Josh Schrock (Asst. Chief), Mitch Houser, Peter Leising.
