LaVerne Merle Maret, 81, passed away May 27, 2024 at the Elwood Care Center. He was born May 8, 1943, in Imperial, Nebraska to Merle and Zelda (Hinton) Maret. LaVerne graduated from Stockville High School in 1962. He met his wife, Georgia Arrington on the Hinton farm when they were just teenagers. The couple eloped to Oberlin, Kansas in 1963 and were later married at the Christian Church in Bartley, Nebraska.

Donnie Lee Franzen, 80, of Kearney, Nebraska, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2024, at Broadwell Senior Living in Kearney. He was born October 4, 1943, in Gothenburg, Nebraska to John and Freda (Strickland) Franzen.

Garold A. Miller, age 73, of McCook, Nebraska, went to be with his Lord and family on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, while he was living at Hilltop Estates in Gothenburg, Nebraska. Garold was one of 7 children born to Albert & Nadine (Merklin) Miller in St. Francis, Kansas.

July 13, 1940 – June 1, 2024 Culbertson Neb – Beverley Grafel passed away at the age of 83 on June 1, 2024 from Endometrial Cancer. She was born in Indianola, Nebraska to Albert and Eva (Hill) Young.

June A. Hanson of Hermiston, Oregon, former Nebraska resident was born on June 15, 1935 in Steele City, Nebraska to parents, Paul and Myrtle (Johnson) Miller. She passed away peacefully on May 17, 2024 in Richland, Washington at the age of 88 years.
