Brenda Joy Riepe, age 83, of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. She was born on October 9, 1940 in Gardena, CA to Gerald Paul Collins and Doris Ledene (Stevenson) Collins. Brenda was their third child out of seven.

The 2024 Holbrook Carp Shoot was held on June 6th with lots of shooting action. Winning the event was Brock and Dyllan Mowry with 285.5 lbs. Second was Mike and Cody Broomfield with 259.5 lbs. and in third was Jake Whipple and Jesse Alexander with 186 lbs.
