This past week’s terror attack in Boulder, Colorado, was a shocking and heartbreaking act of hatred. It demands not only our condemnation, but our collective moral clarity. Antisemitism — in any form, anywhere — is a poison that threatens the very values on which this country was founded. We must name it, reject it, and work together to root it out.

North Korea invaded South Korea with the intention of creating one united country under communist rule on the Korean peninsula.

Through the network, the hospitals will collaborate on clinical and business initiatives that enhance care, control costs and support valuebased care arrangements with insurers.

ARAPAHOE - The school board discussed several items during their monthly meeting on June 9. Food/nutrition pricing and substitute teacher pay rates were discussed and action will be taken on those items during the July meeting.

OXFORD - The Oxford Fire and Rescue Department was dispatched Sunday around 7:30 p.m. to the 600 Block of Odell Street, the home of Ed and Glenda Hamilton.

ARAPAHOE - A Sunday afternoon two-vehicle accident west of Arapahoe claimed the life of a recent Cambridge High School graduate and hospitalized three others. About 4 p.m.

CURTIS – Doris Burke was surprised to be honored with the Citizen of the Year Award during the Community Center’s annual banquet/fundraiser on Friday evening. Burke says she was shocked when Mayor Brad Welch announced her name as this year’s recipient.
