KEARNEY- Two Rivers Public Health Department (TRPHD) is conducting a medication takeback event at the Gosper County Senior Center in Elwood, Nebraska, on Monday, February 16th, 2026, from 10AM-12PM. TRPHD employees will accept unused medications to dispose of them safely.

Ag Valley Co-op, in partnership with the CHS Seeds for Stewardship Foundation, recently donated $5,000 to the Arapahoe Area Food Pantry, reinforcing a shared commitment to strengthening local communities and addressing food insecurity. The donation will help the Arapahoe Area Food Pantry continue providing essential food assistance to individuals and families in the Arapahoe area. Rising food costs and increased demand have placed added pressure on local food pantries, making community support more important than ever. “Supporting the communities where our customers and employees live and work is important to us,” said Jeff Krejdl, CEO of Ag Valley Co-op. “By partnering with the CHS Seeds for Stewardship Foundation, we’re able to invest locally and help meet a real need. CURTIS -The Medicine Valley School Board met on January 12 and conducted their business in under one hour before adjourning to enter into executive session. The officers and standing committee memberships will remain the same in 2026.
