Body Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol conducted alcohol compliance checks at several businesses in Furnas County on Monday.

Body Area students took advantage of sunshine and planted trees in celebration of Arbor Day Friday. The fourth grade from the Arapahoe/Holbrook Schools met at the Arapahoe City Park to plant a Maple Autumn Blaze tree in celebration of Arbor Day.

Body The 2026 4-H Carnival was hosted by Silver Spurs and 4-H Workers 4-H Clubs on Saturday, April 18th at the Ella Missing Center in Arapahoe. The public was able to participate in games, earn prizes, jump in the bounce house, and enjoy cake, ice cream, and hot dogs.

Body The Furnas County 4-H Shooting Sports competition was held on Saturday at the Izaak Walton south of Arapahoe. There were several kids taking part in BB gun, 22 and trap along with archery.

Body 25 Years Ago-April 26, 2001 John Windhusen represnted Beaver City at the Tree City Ceremony in Lincoln. Beaver City was named a Tree City ISA for the 12th consecutive year.
