Last week, we learned of an incident at Offutt Air Force Base. A Chinese national was arrested and charged with illegally photographing the military installation. He photographed sensitive aircraft like the RC-135 and E-4B. This action puts Nebraska airmen and national security at risk. It threatens Offutt’s critical mission. It threatens our nation.

CAMBRIDGE - The Maywood/ Hayes Center girls finished tied for second and the Hi-Line boys were third at the Republican Plains Activities Conference Track and Field Meet in Cambridge Friday. Area athletes won nine gold medals, led by a pair of standouts that captured multiple event winners.

CURTIS - While the Arrowhead Meadows Golf Course seemed to get the better of the golfers Thursday, area competitors still found success at the RPAC Golf Meet in Curtis Thursday. Four area athletes medaled, led by Southwest’s Houston Billeter, who shot an 83 to finish runner-up, and Cambridge’s Micah Gerlach, who fired an 84 to take fourth.
