Larry Maatsch retires after 40 years from Cambridge Rescue

Body
After forty years of answering the call for rescue, Larry Maatsch, an EMT for Cambridge Rescue, has retired. Maatsch says while he will miss the pager at his side, it is also a relief. “It’s on your side 24 hours a day,” he says. An open house for his “40 Years of Service and Dedication” was held on Saturday, April 20th at the Cambridge Congregational Church. Well over 100 people attended the two hours event. Larry says he has also been stopped by many well-wishers that could not attend congratulating him.
