Furnas County authoriteis have charged two men with misdemeanors in relation to a sex trafficking investigation in Furnas County. Both Virgil Eman, 61, and Chad Cunningham, 46, of Oxford, were issued court summons Friday to appear in Furnas County Court for arraignment April 9.

MCCOOK—The Red Willow County Commissioners approved Resolution #1415 on March 15, 2021. The measure affirms that Red Willow citizens are guaranteed the right to keep and bear arms under Article 1, Section 1-1 of the Nebraska Constitution, and the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution.

CAMBRIDGE — Earlier this month when area farmers, Gary and Pam Frecks, saw an ad for a March 9 meeting at the High School Auditorium in Valentine that would address the potential threat to property rights, their interest was piqued to say the least.

On March 8, several local students traveled to Loup City, Elwood and Calloway to compete in the District speech contest. The top three performers in each event qualified for State.
