Henry E. Guerrero, age 72, of McCook, NE, passed away at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook. Henry was born in Corpus Christi, TX to Isabel and Celia (Hernandez) Guerrero on August 15, 1950. He moved to Nebraska in 1970, working as a welder. In 1973 he was wed to Laura Warburton and from this union came Jeremy Joe Guerrero.
Grace Olivia Reiners, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. She was 16 years of age. Grace was born on January 21, 2006 in Clearwater, Florida to Joseph and Heather (Brownell) Reiners. She was a junior at Wendell Krinn High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society and the Interact Club. Grace participated in track and field and volleyball. She loved being around and riding horses, especially her Paso Fino horse, Don Miguell.
Suzanne Deveny Burton passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at her rural Bartley home. She was born on October 4, 1934 in McCook, NE to Charles (Chic) and Iva Coe Deveny. Suzanne graduated from Mc-Cook High School.
Debra “Deb” Sue Young, age 67, of Cambridge, passed away at the CHI Good Samaritan Hospital on January 28, 2023. Deb was born in Laramie, WY on June 2, 1955, to Donald and Gwen (Sherard) Stine.
Alvena Fern Paxton age 97 of Trenton, passed away at her home on January 20, 2023. Alvena was born on the family farm south of Trenton on December 29, 1925, to LaVern and Grace (Makings) Pennell.
Jerry Rice age 88 of Cambridge passed away at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on January 16, 2023. He was born in Oswego, KS on June 1, 1934, to Homer E. and Jewell F (Hardin) Rice. His early childhood memories were with his grandparents on the farm in Chetopa, KS. The family later moved to Norton KS, where he attended school. Jerry enlisted in the US Navy on March 11, 1952 at the age of 17. He served on the U.S.S. Los Angeles CA135 Heavy Cruiser during the Korean War. Jerry was Honorably discharged on October 13, 1954.
