Valley Voice looks different...for a week or two

Body Due to maintenance at the printing press in Mc-Cook, the Valley Voice has been produced at a different press this week and has returned to a larger sheet of newspaper. This change, while welcome for some, is not permanent.

Deja Blue Choir receives $25,000

Body The Arapahoe Deja Blue Choir has received the $25,000 award check from American Endowment Foundation. This money will help fund their trip to Carnegie Hall in May 2025. A few choir members were available to accept the grant.

Walk to Health Team Challenge 2024 Winners

Body Southwest Nebraska Public Health Department’s (SWNPHD) annual Walk to Health Team Challenge 2024 was recently completed. The program lasted for 12 weeks and included 285 residents of all ages.
