Body Chelsey is from Alma and currently lives in Alma. She attended college at University of Nebraska – Kearney. She will be teaching fourth grade reading and science. Chelsey has been teaching for twelve years.

Body Courtney grew up in Burlington, Colorado and now lives in Beaver City. She attended college at Fort Hays State University. She will be teaching third grade. Courtney previously taught PreK for five years in Kansas.

Body Jordyn is originally from Cozad, Nebraska and now lives in Holdrege. She attended college at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln.

Body Glenna has lived in many places including Florida, Alabama, Missouri and Nebraska. Most of her family is now in Nebraska. She is now living in Republican City. She will be teaching fifth and sixth grade science and social studies.

Body Haley is from Arnold, Nebraska and is living in Alma. She attended Chadron State College.

Body Emma is from Gretna, Nebraska. She will be a speechlanguage pathologist. She can serve kids from birth to age 21. This will be her first year as a speech-language pathologist. Emma attended the University of Nebraska – Lincoln.

Body De Anna is also a hometown girl from Stamford and lives there now. She attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney. This is her first year teaching and will be teaching first grade. De Anna was the full time substitute at Southern Valley last year.

Body Lacey is a hometown girl from Oxford and lives there now. She attended college at Southeastern Oklahoma State University and Chadron State University.

Body The Cordelia B Preston Library in Orleans book club meets monthly. The next meeting will be Thursday, September 14th at 6 pm.

Body The VIllage of Stamford is working to raise funds for a community clean up time. Funds raised will go to the Village of Stamford but be earmarked for the cost of things like the extra dumpsters and landfill fees.
