Body The Orleans Fire Department is down to three fire trucks after losing a tanker when fighting a fire near Stamford this last Wednesday, March 16. The fire saw seven area fire departments responding and two homes and many acres of grassland saved.

Oxford Board discusses pool wages

Body The Village of Oxford Board of Trustees discussed wages at the swimming pool during their meeting on Monday, March 21. Pool manager Lacy Rice had told the hiring committee she was having a hard time getting enough lifeguards hired.

Indianola city wide clean up set

Body The Indianola City Council held their regular meeting Monday evening, March 21st at 5:30 p.m. Following the approval of past minutes and bills to be paid, the board approved hiring Swimming Pool manager, Tara Fries, with assistant managers Michael Brodd and Alyssa Springer.
