On Thursday, fire trucks were dispatched at 12:46 p.m. to a wildland fire approximately 15 miles north of Bartley at Road 710 and West Lake Road Drive by Trail 17. Units responding were Bartley, Cambridge, Red Willow Western, Farnam, Indianola, Curtis and Maywood.

More than two years after the closure of the business window, Oxford residents will be happy to learn their Post Office will open for normal operations in the near future. “We are hopeful to see it open by the first of the year,” said Nate Fox.
