A funeral service for Kathleen Tams was held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Peace Lutheran Church in Alma, Nebraska with Pastor Jason Bonnicksen officiating. Interment followed at the Alma Cemetery, Alma, Nebraska.

On October 26, 2022, Glen Dale Vannier went to his Heavenly Father. Glen was surrounded by family and friends at his home in Kearney.

Willard “Owen” Elmer June 13, 1938 - May 10, 2023 W. Owen Elmer passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023 in Kearney, Nebraska; he was surrounded by his family. Owen was born on June 13, 1938 at St. Catherine’s Hospital in McCook, Nebraska to Willard P and Arlene L (Welborn) Elmer. He graduated from Indianola Public Schools and attended UNL until returning to Indianola to help with the family business, Indianola Oil Company.

Betty Meyerle passed away on May 6 th in Monument, Colorado. Betty was born February 17, 1929, southeast of Cambridge. She attended school in Furnace County, graduating at Cambridge 1946. She taught school in Red Willow County, three years, near Cambridge. Later she worked for the Department of Interior At McCook Nebr.

A funeral service for Teresa “Tess” Feldman will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Oxford Evangelical Free Church in Oxford, Nebraska with Pastor Wes Holen officiating. Interment will follow at the Woodruff Cemetery, Woodruff, Kansas.

Thomas Frank Ott, age 71, of McCook, NE passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Community Hospital in McCook. Tom was born July 13, 1951 in Holdrege, NE to parents Elmer Loyed and Dorothy Marie (Bierbower) Ott.

Roger Dean Jones was born in Woodruff, Kansas January 11, 1930 to Rev. Harrison Jones and Ruby (Achen) Jones. The family lived in Imperial, NE after Woodruff, Kansas and Oconto, NE before moving to Cambridge, NE in 1944. Roger met Dorothy Anne Lockenour in Cambridge and they were married June 12, 1951 in her parent’s home, Monte and Jeanie Lockenour, which at the time was the Lockenour Mortuary.

DOROTHY FAYE (WOLFE) TYLER Dorothy was born on June 14th, 1930 to Byron and Etta Wolfe in their Holbrook, NE home. She attended country schools in the Holbrook, Cambridge, and Wilsonville areas, quitting school in the 10th grade to work in the Wilsonville Café to help support the family.

Mary Patricia “Pat” Innocence Young, age 95, of Cambridge, passed away at the Ridgeway Senior Living in Lexington, NE on April 18, 2023. She was born in Lawrence, NE on December 28, 1927, to Clement and Elisabeth (Ostdiek) Witte. The family moved to Cambridge when Pat was three years old. Pat attended Cambridge schools and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1945. She was the only child of 11 children of the family to graduate high school.

Melody Lynn Crawford, 66, was called home to be with Jesus on January 1, 2023, at Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings. Melody was born to Paul and Gertrude (Hutson) Smith on February 5th, 1956, in Oxford, Nebraska.
