INDIANOLA - The Indianola City Council met Monday to approve a building permit for a commercial building for Jonathon Harris and to discuss a potential nuisance on Fourth Street. After approval of prior minutes and claims as well as the December Treasurer’s Report, the Council discussed and approved a building permit for a commercial building on Lots 7/8, Block 31 of Original Town Indianola.

No Cost Home Rehab The Village of Oxford has funds remaining for the owner-occupied housing rehabilitation program to rehabilitate 5 homes within the municipal limits of Oxford. Homeowners must live in the home and be income qualified.

Golden Generation and Oxford Board discuss possible use as disaster site

The Village of Oxford Board of Trustees met on Monday, January 18 at 7 pm for a regular meeting. Absent from the meeting were trustees Chad Cunningham and Mike Minarik. Clerk/treasurer Becky Calderone and Public Works Director Duane Hoffman were also present. The meeting was called to order by board president Clint McQuiston. The board approved the claims from January 5 through January 18.

The Gosper County Senior Center is NOT open for congregate meals for the remainder of the month of January. The Gosper County Senior Center will continue to serve meals for delivery or pick-up.
