Easter Sunday has come and gone, but its significance will remain with us always. How precious it is to know that HE has come, HE has died, and HE will come again! My favorite part of Sunday’s Gospel is where it tells of the two disciples entering the empty tomb and finding the burial cloths, and how they saw that the cloth that had covered his head was rolled up and in a separate place. It was the custom of those days that when at the dining table, the sign to the servers that you were finished with your meal was to leave the table with your napkin crumpled by your plate. If you left the table planning to return, you left your napkin rolled by your plate. The cloth that covered Jesus’ head was rolled. He will return!
