Kate and Ric Meyers went to see Ric’s sister, Janet Hosick in the hospital Sunday afternoon. Last week, Friday and Saturday Ric and Kate went to the lake.
The family of Lelia Haussler (above) celebrated her 100th birthday the weekend of August 13-15 at the Hunt Nebraska Lodge. She was also honored at the McCoy Family picnic at the Ella Missing Community Center. Five new teachers begin their teaching duties at the Arapahoe/Holbrook Public School. They are Dylan Christian, Reid Stagemeyer, Riley Dirgo, Kaitlin Ellis and Terri Johansen.
We are open to in-house meals and as long as our Gosper County numbers stay down we can remain open. We are following the guidelines that WCNAAA has suggested for our Center. Masks are optional. New teaching staff at the Elwood Public School this year will be Maggie Louthan and Brooke Gengenbaugh. Maggie Louthan grew up in Smithfield, Nebraska and graduated from Bertrand high school in 2014.
