Southern Valley falls at Alma, 48-8

Body ALMA - Offense proved tough to come by Friday night for the Southern Valley football team at Alma. The Eagles managed just 107 yards in a 48-8 defeat to the Cardinals, falling to 1-4 this season.

Body CAMBRIDGE - Coming off its first loss of the season, the Cambridge football team returned home Friday for another tough matchup against Hitchcock County. The Trojans had their opportunities to try and climb back from a 16-0 deficit, but couldn't quite reach the end zone.

Warriors roll to 5-0 with win at Elm Creek

Body ELM CREEK - The Arapahoe football team continued its recent surge of momentum with a dominant performance at Elm Creek Friday. The Warriors scored 22 points in the opening quarter and built a 35-6 lead at the half before finishing a 49-28 victory to improve to 5-0 this season.

Body SUTHERLAND - The Southwest volleyball team domin ated the first two rounds of the Sutherland Invite Saturday, then ran a bit short in the final to finish runner-up at its second-consecutive invite.

Body The Arapahoe junior high football team took on the Vikings from Bertrand on Thursday, September 23rd. The Vikings started the game off by recovering an onside kick and scoring on their first possession.

Cambridge takes down Arapahoe in four

Body ARAPAHOE - What looked like it might be a sweep for Cambridge last Thursday met some resistance from Arapahoe in the third set. But the Trojans finished the match in four to take a 25- 12, 25-14, 19-25, 25-11 victory.

Arapahoe JV drops game at Alma

Body The Arapahoe junior varsity football team traveled to Alma on Monday, September 27th, to take on the Cardinals. The Warriors started out by marching right down the field 65 yards capped off by a 7 yard run by Trenton Roskop.
