Wreaths Across America were placed in area cemeteries to honor veterans

Wreaths Across America wreaths were placed to Honor and Remember ALL the Veterans buried in Fairview, Lynden, Mount Hope, Union, Maple Creek and Spring Green Cemeteries. Additional grave specific wreaths were placed on Veterans graves in Alma, Orleans, Stamford, Oxford, Wilsonville and Lebanon Cemeteries in Nebraska and Norton, Clayton, and Norcatur Cemeteries in Kansas. Over 2.5 million wreaths were placed at over 3700 locations in the United States. Thank you to everyone that sponsored wreaths and came to the cemeteries for the ceremonies and placement of the wreaths.

The Gosper County Senior Center is in full swing and has coffee drinkers in at 8:30, pool-players in the midmorning, exercise machines that are in motion, a puzzle on the table, domino game to get started after lunch and of course great noon dinners for you to enjoy with friendly neighbors.
