Body BARTLEY - In a rematch from the first round of the Cattle Trail Tournament, Arapahoe traveled to Bartley Friday for a regular season bout with Southwest.

Body ELWOOD - The Hi-Line girls basketball team posted a pair of home wins last week, surviving Bertrand in overtime, 50-46, Tuesday before racing past Franklin Thursday, 54-15. Tuesday’s contest with the Vikings was tight throughout.

Body BARTLEY - The Southwest girls basketball team did just enough to hold onto a lead and hold off a late charge from visiting Arapahoe Friday, earning their fourth win of the season, 44-33.

Body BURWELL - Both the Hi-Line and Southern Valley wrestling teams took part in the Burwell Duals Saturday in Burwell. Hi-Line went 4-1 in duals on the day with victories over Southern Valley, 48-30, Centura 66-12, Hitchcock County 45-36 and South Loup 60-22.

Body CAMBRIDGE - Three local teams totaled up 13 individual medals and Cambridge again finished tournament runner-up at the Fran Jorgensen Invite in Cambridge Saturday.
