The Rev. Gary Waguespack will be making a return trip to the area for the second annual Free 1 day Christian Conference to be held at the Wilsonville Community Center on Saturday, April 1, 2023. The conference begins at 9:00 am. Pastor Gary ministered in the Wilsonville Methodist Church and the Lebanon Presbyterian church several years ago. Pastor Gary will be assisted by Pastor Curt and Debbie Pfeil (worship leaders) and Pastor Lana Dake with the 3 session teaching on “Truth”. Pizza will be provided for lunch. The Cambridge Memorial Hospital Auxiliary met March 14th in the Tri Valley Health System Republican River Room for lunch, provided by the hospital. Fourteen members answered the roll call. Minutes from the January, 2023 meeting were read and approved, followed by reports from the treasurer, president, thrift store co-chairman and volunteer coordinator.

March 17, 2023 (Lincoln, Neb.) — The Nebraska Board of Public Roads Classifications and Standards will meet on March 24, at 9:00 a.m., at the Nebraska Department of Transportation Central Headquarters Building Auditorium, 1500 Nebraska Parkway in Lincoln. This meeting is open to the public.

Visitors to Nebraska’s south-central state parks will notice several improvements this year. Projects completed in 2022 or to be finished in 2023 will appeal to an array of park users.

On March 21, Pat Ludeke, a special education teacher from Washington Elementary School in Fremont gave a short presentation to our students. Through their Creating Kindness Project, students from Washington Elementary made special signs for our school and fire department. Four years ago, Fremont dealt with devasting floods. A school from Lincoln gave them gifts on the one-year anniversary of the flooding. The students of Washington Elementary wanted to pay it forward by making signs for our school on our one-year anniversary of the wildfires that affected so many in our community. The message of the day was power of kindness and helping each other in the face of adversity.
