The next day they visited the European Union buildings, La Grand-Place (old town square), the Atomium from the 1958 World’s Fair, and learned about and tasted delicious Belgium chocolate. The final part of the trip was a visit to Amsterdam to tour “The Anne Frank House” and to take a bus tour of the city. Later the group ventured into the country-side to see windmills, traditional villages, and to learn how Dutch wooden shoes and cheese are made.
