Working for Firefighters and First Responders

Earlier this year, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation honored 144 firefighters who passed away in 2021 and 2022. Four of those officers were from our home state of Nebraska: Fire Chief Darren Krull, James Bissonnette, Captain Christopher Parker, and Assistant Chief Michael Moody.

The Wilsonville Garden Club’s July meeting was hosted by Jim and Jane Foster of Bartley. The group was given a tour of the Fosters’ incredibly beautiful and lush flower gardens, pristine water feature, tree syrup production area, workshop, and flourishing vegetable gardens. All of the Fosters’ hard work shines although Jane gives Jim most of the credit declaring , “I only take care of the roses...”

Bartley Board meets on July 11

BARTLEY – The board of trustees conducted village business in just under 20 minutes on July 11. In addition to approving the minutes, claims, and financial reports from the previous meeting, the board voted to deny Gavin Harsh’s request for the Young Guns 20’ Shipping Container to be stored on village property.
