Body The 30th Anniversary of the Furnas County Home-Owned Carnival will happen next week, leading one Beaver City woman to reflect on its founding. Dorothy Botrell was one of several committee members who created the Carnival in 1993, she said.

Body In the 13 or so years I have lived in the area, I cannot remember a time when the it’s been so green trough late spring and into early summer. There probably was a time, but I can’t remember it, particularly down home in the Beaver Valley.
