Body ELWOOD - The Elwood school board held their last regular meeting during the summer break on Monday, July 10. Teachers are scheduled to begin the 2023-2024 school year on August 7 and students return on August 10.

Body Janeice “Birdie” C. Jumps, age 87 of Culbertson, passed away at the Wauneta Care Center in Wauneta, NE on July 6, 2023. She was born in McCook, NE on March 10, 1936, to Donald “Bud” and Merylin (Rippen) Fassler. She attended and graduated Culbertson High School in 1953.

Body Betty Meyerle, 94, of Cambridge Nebraska left us after a long, full, and wonderful life on May 6th. Our mother was very loved and will be deeply missed.
