Body OVERTON - After breezing by North Platte St. Pat’s and Dundy County-Stratton in a home triangular Tuesday, the Cambridge volleyball team battled the top-ranked team in Class D2 on the road Thursday before falling in four sets.

Body Leona Josephine Schievelbein, age 97, of Arapahoe, Nebraska passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital in Cambridge, Nebraska.

Body A graveside service for Gerald L. “Jerry” Kuck will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at the Evangelical Free Church in Oxford, Nebraska with Pastor Wes Holen officiating. Interment will follow at the Oxford Cemetery.

Body John Dennis Stearns Sr. was born on July 2, 1936 in Omaha, Nebraska and passed away in his sleep on August 14, 2023 in Hereford, Arizona after a short illness. As a child of an Army Doctor, Dennis moved around most of his childhood.
