Arapahoe returns from break to finish eighth at Pleasanton

PLEASANTON - The Arapahoe wrestling team returned to action from its holiday break with an eighth place finish at the Pleasanton Invite Saturday. Against a tough and competitive tournament field, the Warriors had two medalists, led by 132-pound Briggs Hill, who finished runner-up and led the team with 22 points toward the team total of 88.

Lady Eagles roll past Wallace in championship

ARAPAHOE - The Southern Valley girls played Wallace in the Arapahoe Holiday Tournament championship game and ran away with a 49-12 win.

The Lady Eagles dominated the entire game, never letting the Wildcats score more than five in a quarter. South-ern Valley limited Wallace to3 points in the first quarter, two in the second, two in the third, and five in the fourth.  Meanwhile, the Eagles scored sixteen in the first, seventeen in the second, and fourteen in the third.
