Harvey Marvin Ficken, age 94, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2024 at CHI Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska. He was born on May 24, 1930, to John and Johanna (Noltensmeier) Ficken at their rural home in Frontier County, Nebraska. He was the youngest of a family of five.

Oralene Marie (Hall) Winchell, age 80, passed away in the early hours of Saturday, July 6, 2024, after a short losing battle with cancer. She was born in Mitchell, Nebraska on September 24, 1943. Daughter of Oral and Pansy (Trauernicht) Hall.

Sylvia D. Betz Schurr of Eustis passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Elwood Care Center at the age of 88. Sylvia was born July 15, 1935 at Eustis, Nebraska to Herman and Erna (Fiene) Hablitzel. She graduated from Eustis High School with the class of 1953.
