PAXTON - The Maywood-Hayes Center boys basketball team continued to come up clutch in close contests last week, holding off a Hi-Line rally Tuesday in a 53-45 victory before rallying from a 14-point deficit on the road for a 53-50 win over Paxton Friday.

Arapahoe bowlers split with McCook

The Arapahoe bowling teams split with McCook last Thursday with the Warriors downing the Bison in the girls contest, 19-2, while the boys fell 21-0. For the girls, Arapahoe dropped just two points in the match as Lauren Moore led the way with a games of 180 and 195 for the Warriors.
