LINCOLN, NEB. – “Nebraska Farm Bureau strongly supports the goal of a legislative bill introduced today aimed at correcting the unintentional elimination of more than $550 million of refundable income tax credits for 2023 property taxes, which were paid in 2024. This oversight has resulted in many Nebraska property owners missing out on expected tax relief because the rules were changed in the middle of the game last August during the special legislative session called to lower property taxes.”

By Dean Larry Gossen, PhD It’s always a point of tremendous pride for me to share the Dean’s list and honor roll and appreciate all the hard work our students put in to accomplish this goal. Last semester, our Dean’s List included 13 students who scored a perfect 4.0 and the Honor Roll of 68 students scored above a 3.5 grade point average. There were 56 from Nebraska and a total of 25 from out of state -- Colorado topped that list with 7, followed by Kansas with 6. We had 3 students honored from South Dakota and an additional 9 states had one student scoring excellent grades last semester.
