Furnas County voters living in the Cambridge School District will be receiving new voting ballots in the mail for the August 12, 2025, Cambridge School Bond election following an error with the first batch of ballots.

STOCKVILLE - Following a two-day trial for counts of Child Abuse and False Reporting, Maywood Public Schools Supeintendent Mark Bejot was found not guilty on both counts by a jury Thursday afternoon. The jury deliberated for just over an hour before delivering the verdict shortly after 4 p.m.

The area Senior Legion Baseball teams were in action over the weekend. The Frontier County Outlaws went to Valentine for their district tournament. The Outlaws went up against the Security First Regulators and ended up losing their first round game to them 16-1.
