By Nathaly Dragoo ‘23 On the last Saturday of June, our campus at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture felt more alive than ever. Aggies came home from near and far for Aggie Alumni Day, filling every corner of Curtis with laughter, hugs, and memories that seemed to pick up right where they left off. It reminded us, once again, that NCTA is so much more than a college. It’s a community, a place where connections begin, and where they keep growing, year after year.
BEAVER CITY – The city council conducted their business in just over a half hour on Monday, July 21 with five of the six members present. A building permit request from Jamie Hargett for patio expansion at 1024 N Street was approved.
The Stockville & Country Schools’ Reunion was held at The Anvil restaurant in Curtis on Saturday, July 19, 2025. The Board Members are President Margene (Maret) Hayes, Vice President Bernita (Hinton) Owens and Secretary-Treasurer Linda (Ralston) Monte. Assisting with the gathering was Randy Hayes who manned the microphone equipment. Decorations were done by Nikki Buker and Cheryl Muilenburg. On display were the pictures of the graduating classes of Stockville High School from the years 1920 through 1964, when the school closed.
Myrna Haag As per this summer’s tradition, The Hill and neighborhood have missed out on several more showers. We would like Mother Nature to make a change in this tradition! Where has this summer gone?? It’s fair time and it seems that when the fair is over, summer is gone.
