BARTLEY - On a delayed opening night, the Southwest football team provided plenty of fireworks early and rolled to a 69-12 victory over Harvard. After its original opener a week earlier was scrapped in favor of a junior varsity contest, the Roughriders exploded for 36 points in the opening quarter and led 50-0 in the second.
ARNOLD - The Hi-Line football team used a pair of methodical drives and a big play through the air to jump on South Loup in the first half and coasted to the finish in a 28-6 victory over the Bobcats Friday afternoon.
