Body The Maywood/Hayes Center boys basketball team picked up its second win of the season Saturday night with a win over Southwest. Southwest took an early 12-8 before MHC warmed up from long distance.

Body CAMBRIDGE - Facing off against a pair of RPAC West foes to begin the season, the Cambridge boys basketball team earned a split on opening week, downing Hitchcock County, 75-59, before dropping a 77-61 decision to Dundy County Stratton.

Body ARAPAHOE - The Arapahoe boys basketball team dropped its season opener to Overton Thursday, 76-22. The Eagles jumped in front with 26 points in the opening quarter and rolled away to victory as the Warriors struggled to get stops or make baskets.

Body The Southwest boys basketball team got the season off to a hot start Dec. 4 against Medicine Valley, but it was the Raiders who finished the night on fire for an overtime win.
