Body SARGENT - With four medalists, the Cambridge wrestling team finished fourth place at the Twin Loup Invite Friday. Myles Stanton led the Trojans with a first-place finish at 190 pounds, earning a 45-second pin in the finals.

Body CAMBRIDGE - Southern Valley started strong, but the Cambridge girls basketball team finished strong and rolled away late to a 55-37 victory over the Eagles last week. The Eagles scored the first seven points of the game and led 13-10 after a quarter and 16-10 early in the second.

Body ELWOOD - While they struggled to make shots and rebound the basketball at times, the visiting Southern Valley girls basketball team leaned on its defense to shut down Hi-Line Thursday in a 39-15 victory, the Eagles first of the year.

Body ELWOOD - A late flurry in the final seconds pushed the host Hi-Line Bulls past Southern Valley Thursday in an RPAC boys basketball showdown. Southern Valley broke away from a tied game at halftime and was in control with a seven-point lead midway through the fourth quarter.

Body WEST POINT - At what will likely be the toughest tournament the Roughriders will compete at before the postseason, the Southwest girls wrestling team finished 13th at the Battle at the Point tournament in West POint Saturday.
