Southern Valley Prom

The Red Willow County GOP (Republican Party) will meet, Tuesday, April 28, 2026 for their regular monthly meeting. They will meet this month at a different venue, the Cobblestone Hotel in McCook. There will not be a meet/greet this month and the business meeting will begin at 7:00 pm.

The Cambridge City Council began with a Public Hearing for a Liquor License for Shiva Investments of Cambridge LLC, Cobblestone Inn & Suites. No public comments were made. A motion was made and seconded to close the public hearing, and the motion passed. The council approved the Liquor License for Shiva Investments of Cambridge, LLC, Cobblestone Inn & Suites.

Mikah Schultz of Southern Valley has been selected by the Oxford American Legion Auxiliary to attend girls State in Lincoln this summer. Every spring, the American Legion Auxiliary Girls State Program provides approximately 25,000 young women with a hands-on educational opportunity designed to instruct tomorrow’s leaders in the privileges and duties of responsible citizenship.
