When the Beaver City Schools reopen January 2, the facilities will be ready to begin serving hot meals to pupils and staff. Due to the scarcity of materials, it is necessary for everyone to bring their own table service. Until the cost of the initial equipment is taken care of, the cost will be 20 cents, to be reduced as soon as possible. The lunch room will be located in the high school building in the room formerly occupied by the shop.

The new water supply tower purchased by the City will be erected on the hill northeast of the high school building. The bottom of the 150,000-gallon storage tank sits on a tower 100 feet from the ground.

In the pre-Christmas rush at the Horton Drug Co. one day last week, somebody’s rat terrier was lost in the exodus at closing time and made its headquarters in one of the show windows. What he did to that holiday display is a crime.
