The Cambridge School Board met in regular session on Monday, December 13, 2021. Board Member Amy Sines was absent. Gracelynn tenBensel-McConville and Quintin Shaner were guests. That was no public comment. The Board then approved the agenda and the minutes from the previous meeting.

After a brief Treasurer’s report, the Board approved the General Fund Claims and Special Building Fund Claims. Discussion was then held about when the Board would be available to pass out gifts to staff members. Mr. Shepard then reminded the Board members there were three members up for re-election: Trevor Kubik, Sally Farquhar, and Jason Houghtelling and that they would need to register soon if they plan to run again.

The Board then discussed ESSER Projects and moved into action items. The Board approved the heating/cooling contract to install new heating and cooling units in the elementary building and library. They also approved enclosing an entryway at each of the doors to buffer the cold air coming in. The Board entered executive session at 6:42 pm to discuss negotiation items. No action was taken.
